Walking with Moms in Need is an initiative of the USCCB Secretariat of Pro-Life Activities. More information about the National organization, including educational materials, can be found on their website.
These groups are available 24 hours a day, and provide compassionate care, pregnancy tests, free ultrasounds, abortion pill reversal, etc.
Have you taken the first abortion pill? And you regret your decision? These groups can help you reverse the effects of the abortion pill.
These organization provide compassionate support after miscarriage or child loss.
These groups provide supportive, confidential, non-judgmental healing after an abortion.
These groups provide food distribution, nutrition and support at little to no cost to you.
Temporary places to stay when pregnant or after delivery.
These groups can help you get diapers, baby clothes, cribs, car seats, etc.
These groups can help with getting furniture for your home and baby at no cost to you.
Help with parenting and life skills through guidance, counseling, and support groups.
Help with medical and dental needs for adults & children.
These groups can help with the adoption process whether its having a baby adopted or adopting a baby.
St. Mark Priests are available at any time to help with spiritual guidance, support, and reconciliation, and deacons are available for spiritual guidance and support.
If you are called to help Mothers in need, there are many ways you can get involved. We always accept donations, either in kind, or financial, but you may also be interested in assisting on one of the Walking With Moms in Need committees at Saint Mark. The activities committee supports Walking With Moms in Need by helping to plan and brainstorm about parish wide events like a baby shower or other pro- life activities to support moms.

Supports Walking With Moms in Need by organizing donations of baby and mom items and volunteering to serve at the Little Ones Closet and Moms Boutique on some Wednesday afternoons. Coordinates sharing of items with centers as needed.

Supports Walking With Moms In Need by private prayer and organizing prayer experiences every month or so to give us the opportunity to pray together or as a parish.

Supports Walking With Moms In Need by networking with pregnancy centers and other agencies and resources in the area. Keeps record of these resources and will make trips to deliver mom and baby items as needed. Volunteers go in teams of two to make deliveries.

This is our newest committee and in need of volunteers. Some mothers are unable to find transportation to our donation center, so we are taking items directly to them. Volunteers will travel in pairs.
